Social Landings & Utility Room
The landing areas, stepped bridges, and connecting hallways are vital spaces in their own right. Under the void, these arteries reinforce the sense of tranquillity and spaciousness inside the house.
The well equipped utility room has a separate washing machine and dryer, a sink unit with associated drying rack, a large amount of hanging space for jackets, and also houses the deck chairs. As with all the spaces in The Houseboat, there is a great deal of storage space.
The back door leads to the side patio and pretty garden where there is a rotary drying line.
